Babies are consciously creating their births. If we listen to them, they tell us who they are and what they need.

Why I am
a midwife
There is something indescribably powerful about the moment during labor when a woman looks into my eyes—everything else fades away, and she is in touch with the purest essence of her strength. In that unfiltered moment, I am honored to witness her transformation as she surpasses her limits, connecting to her deepest power.
I am passionate about creating calm, healthy birth environments that allow babies to be born into spaces of love and safety. I believe this leads to a healthier more wholesome connection between mother, child & family. Witnessing families transform and thrive through the birthing process is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. I am continuously in awe of the mystery of birth and life itself.

story
My curiosity about birth began as a teenager while growing up in Minnesota. My friend’s mom was a midwife and her birth stories always captivated me. In my early 20s this same midwife offered for me to attend my first births, sparking a passion that only grew stronger.
An adventurer at heart, I moved to Hawaii and became a massage therapist and professional dancer. When the pandemic hit and almost all dancing stopped, life opened a path for me to begin midwifery school. So I enrolled in the National College of Midwifery. I’ve attended sweet home births in nature in Hawaii. My love of Spanish and Latin culture drew me to Maternidad La Luz, a birth center in El Paso Texas. I attended births in Playa Del Carmen, with mamas who traveled from around the world. I love meeting mamas in the nuances of their stories.
My work as a dancer and bodyworker allows me to bring an embodied approach to supporting families, encouraging somatic self-awareness and intuition. The more I listen to women, the more I realize they already possess everything they need for the birthing process, and I am honored to help them unlock that wisdom. I moved to Austin Texas in 2024 to begin working with Mystic Waters Midwifery Collective.

Birth transforms the mind, body and soul.
